Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding Company (QSC) was established in May, 2005 with a paid up capital of 200 million Qatari riyals (Approx. 55 million US dollars). In September, 2005, Dlala became the first non-banking financial Investment Company listed in Doha Securities Market DSM to provide brokerage services to investors in the equity markets.
Dlala Holding established both Dlala Brokerage Company LLC and Dlala Islamic Brokerage Company LLC which were registered in DSM. Both companies started to work in January 2006.
During this short establishment period, Dlala managed to win the confidence of investors in DSM both locally and regionally, thanks to the company’s team work efforts and experience in the field of financial brokerage and investment. Investors’ confidence has been reflected on the evolution of our work methods. Consequently, helping investors to make the appropriate investment decisions has become the company’s ultimate goal.
Dlala’s current board of directors consists of representatives from significant and pioneering companies and organizations. They are: Pension Fund of the General Retirement & Pension Authority, Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, Education and Health Fund – Ministry of Finance, Qatar National Bank, Doha Bank, Commercial Bank, International Bank of Qatar, Ahli Bank, and Amwal. Dlala Holding's Board of Directors has strategic administrative oversight of all its activities for the benefit of the shareholders in conformity with the nature of the institutional practices of the national leading organizations.
